![]() If you haven’t already done so, please run the Malwarebytes Support Tool and then attach the logs in your next reply: ![]() At any rate, my main concerns are this: The program freezes upon entering settings and the scan locking up leading to multi-day (I've had one going for over 72 hours without realizing it before) scans because it is hung up on a file.Īny help is appreciated, just let me know what you need. It looks like I'm going to have to reset my computer again just to make it go away. I can't go back to the main menu, access the other tabs in settings, I can't even close the window. I tried to go into the Settings menu to make sure my product key was still entered and every time I try going into settings the program locks up. I ran the Support tool while in safe mode and let it reboot me back into regular mode where it appeared to re-install Malwarebytes. My internet has been a bit wonky over the last few days so I booted into safe mode and did some scanning there and came up clean with a quick scan, but a threat or custom scan took over five hours even though it didn't appear to stall in safe mode (the files scanned kept increasing at least) even though the counters would appear to stop for awhile every now and then. The timer still ticks and I can cancel the scan, but it will get stuck after a 150k to 225k scanned objects. ![]() ![]() Okay, so I've had problems on and off with Malwarebytes just appearing to lock up in a scan.
